Jeanne Whitney lives with her Husband, Bill, and four of her six children, On a small farm in Snohomish, Washington.
As the children have gotten older, she has been able to resume her illustration and portraiture.
Jeanne has illustrated 12 published books and four more currently on the drawing board. Here are a few examples of illustrations she has done for Children's books.

She works in oil, watercolor, and pen and ink, and experimental combinations of media. She has also designed stained glass logos....and costumes.
She
received Honors for this Portrait at the 52nd
annual Exhibition, at the Howard/Mandville Gallery-Kirkland, Sponsored by the Northwest Watercolor Society. This painting was sold at the exhibit.
She would be interested in taking a few few more portrait commissions a year. Though she she has plenty of illustration work.
Her portraits have a depth that tends to pull you into the mood they portray. Here are examples of her ability to paint the essence of the character of the people she paints.
